you show a ‘constraint change’ report. is this a check to see if there have been logic changes (revisions to constraints, predecessors, successors, etc) from one schedule to the next update?

can change inspector be used on p6 pro stand-alone (sqlite)? i’ve been trying to find an alternative to claim digger since claim digger is not available on the sqlite installs.

hi kristen,
i think there are a few 3rd party xer comparison apps but i’m not familiar with most them other than change inspector. i use change inspector myself every week – it’s a great tool and it’s really affordable.

here are couple of differences:

1) works with both p6 or ms project files
2) no need to have the p6/ms project installed, directly reads the xer/mpp file
3) streamlined reports – all relevant data organized in streamlined reports. for example added activities will show the duration, float and calendar on one report
4) advanced user defined filters/sorts/grouping
5) easy to navigate reports
6) export reports to excel (2007 or newer version) – each report as a separate worksheet

hi,
i download the trial version from their website and as i try to run the setup, my antivirus system[licensed kaspersky] returned the following message :

2/11/2013 8:56:38 am malicious http object : detected: trojan program ‘heur:trojan.win32.generic’ (modification).

so, please advice or if you are in touch with them please get a clarification from them.
