your instructor

meet tyler konter - pe, psp, ccp, senior consultant

tyler konter joined the engineering consulting industry after years of experience performing project management, engineering, project controls, cpm scheduling, and cost analysis on live construction projects. mr. konter has performed and critiqued forensic analyses of industry-recognized methods including the measured mile for productivity analysis; and the contemporaneous, impacted as-planned, and as-planned vs. as-built for schedule analysis.


mr. konter served in u.s. air force special operations for five years before changing his focus to the construction industry. he has a b.s. in civil engineering and has lectured on topics in this subject for various organizations and professionally at project controls and construction events. he is an expert in damages quantification and cost engineering.

are there any pre-requisites to this course?

yes. you must have experience in building and managing cpm schedules. it is essential to know how to perform cpm scheduling calculations manually without software. this course is not for beginners to project controls, but for professionals who have minimum 2 years of experience in project controls. if you are a beginner in project controls, contact us about other training courses that are a better fit for your experience.

is any software required for the coursework?

no, it is not necessary to have access to any scheduling tools. the course will focus on fundamental techniques and concepts outside of any software package. this is not a primavera p6 course, but rather a course that focuses on techniques.

how many pmi pdus can i claim for this course?
