perhaps for compatibility reasons? it does help if companies working together are on the same version, but it’s not an absolute.

1. admin menu: no more sub-menu users, security profiles.
2. tools menu: removed job services, timescaled logic diagram, and claim digger. while visualizer has been added to the sub-menu.

i hope to add more to the foregoing list over time.

agreed david – that backend infrastructure is getting more and more complex and confusing – weblogic 11g is really weblogic v10.3.6 – i don’t know why the numbers can’t match up.

for a lot of users though, the real integration issue is weblogic / websphere and non-oracle applications (sap, maximo etc).
