could you provide some guidance for determining the as-built critical path?

saleh,

1 – once a baseline schedule is approved & signed, you do not update it. a re-baseline is required when one of the conditions that triggers a re-baseline process in the project’s planning & scheduling procedure is met. update your current or live schedule not the baseline.

2- i don’t know about recovery baseline schedule but a recovery schedule is your current schedule optimised to bring the schedule back on track to either baseline state or a new target.

2- is the recovery baseline schedule has the same meaning of updated baseline schedule?

thank you.

it is a made up schedule with no growth activity added for simplicity.

the tutorial provides proof of concept and it was never intended to replicate all scenarios applicable in a real project.

as generally experienced, schedules are dynamic and activities are added as the scope becomes better defined or modified. these new activities may be in the critical path with no baseline activities to compare against.
