how do you know if your car is performing well? i’m assuming one would monitor the dashboard – tracking gas level, oil and engine lights, speed etc. just like that, a kpi is a metric that helps you track whether you’re going to reach your targeted goal. kpi stands for key performance indicator. it helps you determine if a project is succeeding or failing, and if the goal will be met. kpis are a road map to determine if the right decisions and direction is being pursued and if a detour is needed.
